Here is a brief list of the services that I provide.

I file Chapter 7 Bankruptcies for clients to discharge debts.  Despite the hysterical advertising of late, the new Bankruptcy laws have not seriously limited the ability of individuals to obtain a discharge through Chapter 7.

1. What is your consultation fee?

The initial consultation is free of charge.

2. Can I do a telephone consultation?

Yes, your initial consultation may be either in person or by phone.

3. What does a Bankruptcy cost?

While each case is different, the basic cost for a Chapter 7 is $1,000 for attorney fees and $299 for Court costs.

4. How long does a Chapter 7 take?

From the time of filing until you receive your discharge, it is usually 90 days or so.

5. Do I have to go to Court?

You must attend one meeting with the Trustee about 30 days after filing. It takes about 10 minutes.

I prepare and advise clients regarding real estate contracts used to purchase, option or lease real estate. Also, I advise clients about Short Sales, Foreclosures and other similar issues.

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

Commonly used to save a person’s most valuable asset—their home.  Chapter 13 is a powerful tool to use against creditors when you can’t work with them.  It is often less costly than many debt consolidation programs and can provide more complete relief so contact me first.

1. Do I have to pay all of my debts?

Usually, no. You have to pay as much as the unsecured creditors would get in a Chapter 7, you have to pay most back taxes or support and you have to pay your disposable income.
